Moving Moments in Childhood Series, Part 3

Session 3: Narrative – Movement, Regulation & the Power of Story

This immersive session invites participants to explore how movement patterns—specifically the DMT planes of movement—can be used to support emotional regulation and therapeutic responsiveness. Dr. Lori Baudino and Rachael Singer, BC-DMT, will guide attendees through experiential practices that highlight the connection between physical movement and psychological states. Drawing on the DMT theory and sensory-based techniques, participants will discover how narrative, movement, and embodied expression can enrich therapeutic engagement and foster deeper healing in children.

Learning Objectives:

1.  Participants will explore the DMT planes of movement and the application to regulation and response.

2.  Participants will learn the practical application of the use of narrative in therapeutic practice (case studies/vignettes).

3.  Participants will experience DMT practices, including Chase and our Sensory superpowers.
